Shri Pratab Singh Museum

The Shri Pratap Singh (SPS) Museum opens floodgates to the treasure of ancient and medieval Kashmir with the vast collection of artefacts that decorate its shelves and the premises. Established in 1898 A.D. by the Dogra ruler Maharaja Pratap Singh


The Kargil War memorial was built by the Indian army that commemorates the historic success of Operation Vijay also to commemorate numerous war martyrs who lost their lives during the war of Kargil with Pakistan in the year 1999.

Central Asian Museum Kashmir

In order to study the Central Asian region from diversified point of view, the Centre of Central Asian Studies was established in 1978 at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar.

Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum

The Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum of Central Asian And Kargil Trade Artefacts is a family-operated, public museum located in the town of Kargil, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The museum has on display objects that circulated along the trade routes between Ladakh and Yarkand, as well as other material relics.

Central Asian Museum Leh

The Central Asian Museum Leh has a rich collection artefacts, manuscripts and pieces of heritage collected from Central Asia, Tibet and Kashmir from 18th and 19th centuries and some are at least 400 years old.
